Price versatility

All members of Club Barbet Canada are eligible for the Versatility Award.

The Versatility Award was created to recognize outstanding contribution, by a Barbet, to the breed, in Canada. It will be awarded to a Barbet, male or female, that has accumulated multiple CKC performance titles.

A plaque with the name of the winning Barbet will be presented to the owner during the Club Barbet National Specialty. In the years that that the Specialty is not held, awards are given out at the Annual General Meeting. The award is mailed to recipients who are unable to receive it in person.

The versatility Award requirements

In order to be considered for the Versatility Award, a Barbet must have:

--CKC Championship in Conformation

--Two performance titles conferred by the CKC


1.This is a once in a lifetime award. The owner, or breeder, of the dog must apply in order to be considered.

2.All applicants must be members in good standing of the Club Barbet Canada, for at least 12 months prior to the application.

3.To be considered, the application, together with copies of all documents, as verified by the CKC, must be submitted to the Awards Coordinator, by mail or e-mail. Please do not send original documents, as submissions will not be returned.

4.The names, dates, and locations of CKC titles earned must be provided to the Awards Coordinator as proof of certification obtained by the Barbet.

--CKC Working Certificate

--CKC Obedience Certificates (Canine Good Neighbour – CGN - Dog Certificate is not accepted)

--CKC Rally-O Certificates

--CKC Agility Certificates
